Farm experience is all about getting in touch with nature- getting your hands dirty through planting and experiencing firsthand the Portuguese practices and traditions in the countryside. Our farm is open to our guests so we can promote our way of life and our love for organic food. We also have ancient recipes that we love to share. If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty, be our guest.
With the farm to table experience, we are committed to sharing everything we know about planting, harvesting, raising animals, cooking and preparing healthy and organic meals. Our family has been an advocate of a chemical-free lifestyle, very dedicated to agriculture, and utilising nature’s gift with as less impact on the environment as possible. In the farm experience, we will also show you how we produce our wines, liquors, jams, cakes and goat cheese. You will also enjoy my mom’s traditional Portuguese dishes with ingredients straight from the farm. In your short stay with us, we make you part of our family. A walk through the garden escorted by someone from the team where we will tell you the history of the farm, how everything started, what we want and where we want to go. We will talk about what means to produce in organic mode, its challenges, the limitations and the seasonality. The visit ends with a tasting of our products: jams, sauces, juices, seasonal fruits, liquors, cheese.

We will show you how to plant, grow and harvest our organic produce. We’re very proud of our ancient traditions in agronomics, so we really appreciate it when guests want to learn our ways and take part in the production process. Our plantation grows oranges, olives, and other fruits and vegetables. We also have a good number of farm animals — goats, ducks, chickens, rabbits and geese. All these are where we get our home cooked meals from wines, juice, meat, and cheese. Give a special thanks to Ana’s culinary skills and an extra hug to show your appreciation, she’ll be super happy.
One of the things we care about the most is that the menu is the reflection of the best of each season. If we respect the seasonality of each product, we will guarantee a richest taste, a best nutritional value and an unique experience… and because we only work with seasonal products the menu changes with the rhythm of each season. And that’s why the Menu is made week by week…
